An insight to our vision of slow fashion swimwear…

In an industry that is responsible for producing 10% of the planet's CO2 emissions, ranking the second-highest polluter after oil, we decided to make a conscious commitment from the start to take a more sustainable approach to our production as a slow fashion retailer.

At Morvoren Collective, we believe in quality over quantity, which is why we only use ECONYL® to produce our swimwear.

Created from post consumer waste such as fishing nets and discarded carpet fibres; ECONYL® is given a second lease of life and regenerated into our favourite irresistible luxe swim fabric, that is not only beautiful for the planet but beautiful on you.

By using ECONYL®, we are able to help clear ocean waste and minimise nylon pollution by an incredible 80%.

Not only is ECONYL® infinitely recyclable, but it is also chlorine, sun cream, oil & pilling resistant. Not to mention, it's super soft and also UV protected, meaning that the quality is designed to last so that you can treasure your swimwear season after season.

We wanted to ensure it is not only our fabrics that are sustainable but our whole model of production, which is why we chose to manufacture locally in the UK. This enables us to keep a close eye on quality control, reduce our carbon footprint and ensure our small female founded factory follows ethical practices always.

It doesn’t stop there, we have some very exciting plans for the near future regarding how we are aligning ourselves with our eco-conscious ethos as we evolve into our dream brand. Keep your eyes peeled for more announcements to come this spring, and in the meantime why not read our sustainability pledge for more information.
